APOLLO MAC by BOSTON MAC
1983 black stallion

Photo taken at sunrise May 2009.
Apollo has now been here at Everett Acres for a couple years now. He is wonderful guy. He is smart and full of personality. We are very excited about his foals in 2008. Apollo is enrolled as an Incentive Fund stallion with AQHA. He is also an APHA approved breeding stallion.
Apollo used to work cattle on a 300 head ranch. He was retired after injuring his hip when it got caught on the cattle fence while working. Supposedly he was very cowy and could be roped off of from front and rear. Working cattle is what he did and what he liked. But now he gets to enjoy retirement and his lady friends.
Apollo has a rich history of some of the finest Quarter Horses that shaped the history of speed in the QH breed. Apollo's registration papers still show Boston Mac, Triple Chick, Three Bars, The Ole Man, Parker's Trouble, Chicado V, and Trouble Fair .
Apollo's bloodlines also include: King George who was from the King Ranch and a full brother to Peppy. Texas B who was a sire of AQHA Champion-1963 Honor Roll Working Cow horse-Chuckle M Podna. Do Good who was the foundation mare of the Vessels Ranch Running-Horse program. Zantanon who was an AQHA Hall Of Fame Sire. Gray Badger II, 100% foundation sire who will be inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2007. Nowata Star who was the sire of 9 Race ROM, 1 AQHA CH, & a High PT Barrel Mare. Oklahoma Star 100% foundation sire who is an AQHA Hall of Fame horse (1992).
